Welcome to Rana Kalila's website. Thanks for visiting!
Middle Eastern dance, more commonly known as belly dance, is a beautiful form of dance that celebrates real women. Cast aside your misperceptions of the Hollywood-ized, too-skinny, scantily-clad harem girl and discover what belly dance can do for you! Authentic Middle Eastern dance has been practiced for centuries and it brings together women of all shapes, sizes, and backgrounds while forging an unbreakable bond of sisterhood. You are not too fat or too skinny, too young or too old. You are perfect for this dance! Come try out a class or attend a performance to learn more about this beautiful art form. Rana Kalila welcomes new students and encourages all women to give belly dance a chance!
Rana is located in eastern Kentucky and is teaching beginner- and intermediate-level classes through the University of Pikeville dance program.
